Press Release: HSF Writes To The National Commissioner Of Correctional Services Regarding Jacob Zuma’s Medical Parole

The Helen Suzman Foundation (“HSF”) Has Written To The National Commissioner Of Correctional Services, Arthur Fraser, Requesting Reasons For His Decision To Place Former President Jacob Zuma On Medical Parole.

Following his imprisonment for contempt of court, former President Jacob Zuma was placed on medical parole by the National Commissioner of Correctional Services, Arthur Fraser. The HSF has subsequently written to the Commissioner, to request his reasons for placing Mr Zuma on medical parole, in order to determine whether his decision was made on lawful basis.
